The company has developed an algorithm that will be able to define lung cancer based on deep learning and 3D visualization even at the earliest stages when its symptoms are absent. Meanwhile, the developers hope to increase its detection rate up to 80%.

Obviously, medical drug creation is a vitally important deal. The problem is that it is very expensive. The development of one drug requires in average 2.5 billion dollars. Everything can change due to Insilico Medicine. Artificial intelligent developed by the company analyzes potential drugs and informs about their efficiency in treating a certain disease. And early this year, the startup along with Mail.Ru Group and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology applied a neural network to create new pharmaceutical products.

SigTuple

SigTuple’s artificial intelligence is designed to speed up the disease diagnosis process primarily in regions with poorly developed healthcare and a lack of doctors. The algorithm is able to conduct remote diagnostics based on blood, urine, and sperm examination. Experiments show that its results coincide with the results obtained in a common lab environment.

Genetesis

2% of 10 million people addressing complaints of chest pain die from undiagnosed cardiac failure. The latter is quite difficult to detect and health professionals frequently take it for something nonthreatening. The result is sad.

Genetesis is looking for ways to solve this issue, using deep learning algorithms and sensors to diagnose correctly the reasons of chest pain.

Bay Labs

This company is also developing a technology for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. Unlike Genetesis, Bay Labs does not limit itself to only one disease but is aimed at helping doctors to define all kinds of similar disorders. Thus, it has created a system for analyzing the heart ultrasonic diagnosis data. Bay Labs’s solution allows to obtain the results 20 times faster than using the common way.
