Cornerstones4Care app to help diabetic patients is available

Partnership of Novo Nordisk, an insulin production leader, and Glooko startup, developing healthcare mobile software, brought the first result. They launched a free application for iOS and Android devices called Cornerstones4Care Powered by Glooko (C4C) designed for diabetic patients.

The application allows to measure a blood sugar level and monitor its rate during a long period as well as control nutrition and activity. This app interacts with a majority of fitness and diabetes control devices, existing on the market.

Data collected by the application will be analyzed to improve the service and create similar offers for users suffering from other diseases. In the nearest future, companies are going to develop apps for hemophiliacs and patients with obesity.
