On April 28, Irina Kargalskaya will speak at the discussion panel “Cooperation of government and private companies in implementation of telemedicine in Russia”. The discussion panel is scheduled for the second block of the conference.
During the discussion, various industry representatives (start-uppers, developers of medical software, businesspeople, doctors) will share their vision of the situation. Among them, Irina is the first and only speaker in the history of the M-Health Congress who will represent the position of patients.
In her report, the speaker will cover a number of issues, including:
• explaining how regular consumers are interested in telemedicine;
• telling about the existing communities of patients in Russia and their influence on healthcare system;
• analyzing the role of internet screening in early diagnostics of socially significant diseases;
• offering solutions for severely ill patients by using remote consultations with doctors.
Irina Kargalskaya is a co-chairman of the Patient-Centered Telemedicine Committee of the Russian Patients Association, as well as a head of educational telemedicine patient community Melanoma Patients Russia and a member of the European community Melanoma Patients Network Europe.
